This app collects nothing, sends nothing, and asks for no permissions. That is the whole policy. The rest of this page explains how you can check it rather than take our word for it.
On Android, the app requests no permissions — not the internet, not the microphone, not the camera, not storage, not location. You can verify this yourself in the Play listing's permission list.
If you inspect the app file directly you will find one entry ending
DYNAMIC_RECEIVER_NOT_EXPORTED_PERMISSION. It is added automatically
by a standard Android support library, it is defined by this app for this app,
and it grants access to nothing on your device. We mention it because we would
rather tell you than have you find it.
On iOS, the app contains no usage descriptions, which means it is not able to ask you for the camera, the microphone, your photos or your location. Its App Privacy information records that no data is collected.
Wait With Me makes no network requests of any kind. On Android the operating
system itself prevents it from connecting to a network, whatever the app might
attempt, because it holds no INTERNET permission. This is not a
promise in a document; it is enforced by the platform.
There is no advertising, no analytics, no crash reporting and no third-party code of any kind in this app.
Four things are remembered on your own device so the app opens the way you left it: the length you last chose, the colour, whether sound is on, and whether digits are shown. Nothing else is written down at all.

This app is intended to be set up by a parent, carer or teacher, and watched by a child. Because it collects nothing and connects to nothing, there is no child data to protect, disclose or delete.
Uninstalling the app removes the four remembered settings. There is nothing held anywhere else, by us or anyone.
